The Lectur Commentators ministry started April 11, 2026.
What do Lectur Commentators do?- We announce the latest news to the parishioners during Mass.
- We substitute for the Deacons when there is not one scheduled.
- We read the petitions in the Deacon’s absence.
When do we meet?
We recently met the end of March to explain the logistics of beginning the ministry. Meetings are annual to discuss news and updates.
Volunteering:
We are looking for new people to join the ministry. Most of our Lector Commentators come from the lector ministry. This is a great starting point for someone without experience to become active with proclaiming Gods Word.
